A single clear call to action points visitors to your link, your inbox or your next video.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Bio Optimizer free to use?
Yes. The tool is free, needs no login, and runs entirely in your browser, so your bio text is never uploaded.
What are the bio character limits?
This tool uses 150 characters for Instagram, 160 for Twitter/X, 80 for TikTok, 101 for the Facebook short bio, 2,600 for the LinkedIn About section (220 for the headline) and 1,000 for the YouTube channel description. Platforms can change these limits, so confirm in the app if a paste is rejected.
How is the bio score calculated?
The score averages five checks: length against the platform limit, emoji use, presence of a call to action, keywords you add, and clarity (filler words and line breaks). It is a writing guide, not a ranking prediction.
Should I use hashtags in my bio?
It depends on the platform. They rarely help on Instagram bios, while plain keywords that describe your niche are more useful on TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
Can I save my bio for later?
Use Copy Bio to paste it elsewhere or Download .txt to save a file. The tool does not store anything between visits.
